Arkansas cards are issued by county and regional library systems to their own residents. The big exception to free access is Central Arkansas Library System in Little Rock, which charges other Arkansans $72 a year for a card.
Most of the state pools its ebooks into one of two shared Libby catalogs: the Arkansas Digital Library Consortium (most county and regional systems in central, southern and eastern Arkansas) and ArkansasLibrary2Go (northwest Arkansas and the River Valley โ Fayetteville, Bentonville, Fort Smith and neighbors). One card from any member unlocks that group's whole collection, so the strategic combo is one ADLC card, one Library2Go card, and a CALS card for its separate Little Rock collection.
This map pins every county and regional system in both consortia plus the independents โ individual city branches within a system are not shown.
Each pin is a library system (one card per system). Click a dot for details. Progress saves in your browser.
