Kentucky cards are issued by county public libraries to people who live, work, or study locally. Nearly every library in the state pools its ebooks into one shared Libby collection, Kentucky Libraries Unbound, run with the state library agency โ so one card from almost any Kentucky county unlocks the same statewide catalog.
That makes the collectible list short but sweet: the separate catalogs are Louisville Free Public Library, Lexington Public Library, and Kenton County Public Library in Northern Kentucky. Everything else on the map shares Kentucky Libraries Unbound, so extra cards there add convenience, not new books.
Kentucky has about 119 county library districts; this map pins roughly 70 of the larger ones with full geographic coverage โ nearly all the unpinned small districts are also Kentucky Libraries Unbound members.
Each pin is a library system (one card per system). Click a dot for details. Progress saves in your browser.
