Oklahoma library cards are free where you live, work, or go to school. The two biggest systems sell cards to everyone else: Metropolitan Library System (Oklahoma City) and Tulsa City-County Library each charge roughly $65โ70 a year for out-of-area residents.
For Libby, about 100 smaller city libraries share one OK Virtual Library collection โ one member card covers them all. The separate catalogs worth collecting are Metropolitan (OKC), Tulsa City-County, Pioneer (Norman/Moore/Shawnee), Eastern Oklahoma (Muskogee), Southeast Oklahoma (McAlester), and Western Plains (Clinton) โ each buys its own ebooks with separate waitlists.
This map pins the six independent systems plus about 35 of the larger OK Virtual Library members across the state.
Each pin is a library system (one card per system). Click a dot for details. Progress saves in your browser.
